Meet the Founder
Apostle John Kibe is the founder of Global Revivals and a Christ-centered minister with a deep passion to see souls saved, believers discipled, and the Church awakened to the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. Since his youth he has carried a burning desire to lift up Jesus, seek the one who is far from God, and help believers walk in wholehearted devotion to Christ.
Global Revivals reflects that same heartbeat: finding the lost, forming disciples, and fueling revival—one heart and one soul at a time.
CALLED TO PREACH CHRIST TO THE NATIONS
Apostle John came to know the Lord at the age of eighteen. Soon after, God began to open doors for him to preach the Gospel, and he has been actively ministering since 1999. Over the years his life has been marked by a deep love for Jesus, a strong emphasis on prayer and the Word, and a constant dependence on the Holy Spirit.
His call is simple and clear: to preach Christ, to strengthen the Church, and to steward revival. Whether in a village meeting or an international conference, his desire is the same. He longs to see people encounter the love of God, be rooted in Scripture, and be released to live as mature disciples of Jesus.
APOSTOLIC LEADERSHIP
Through the years, the Lord has entrusted Apostle John with several assignments that serve the Body of Christ:
• Senior minister of Upendo Chapel Ministries in Ruiru, Kenya, with a growing congregation and branches locally and internationally.
• Leader of Global Blessing Ministries International, a Gospel agency focused on evangelism, church planting, and leadership training.
• Founder of Burning Flame Television, a media ministry sharing the Word of hope through television and online platforms.
• Spiritual father and mentor to pastors and churches in Kenya and abroad.
These assignments along with many others have taken him to many nations in Africa, Europe, America, Asia, and the Middle East, where he serves the Church with a message of repentance, restoration, and Holy Spirit led revival.
HEART FOR REVIVAL, HEART FOR PEOPLE
Apostle John believes that revival is more than a series of meetings. It is a lifestyle of walking closely with Jesus, loving people well, and making room for the Holy Spirit to move. His preaching carries a strong emphasis on the cross, the power of the blood of Jesus, and the call to live in holiness, humility, and obedience.
In every place he ministers he longs to see the lost reconciled to God, the Church strengthened in prayer and the Word, and leaders equipped to shepherd God’s people with integrity, compassion, and courage.
FAMILY AND LIFE
Apostle John is married to Pastor Gladys Ngata, and together they have been blessed with three sons. They have walked side by side in ministry for many years, serving their local congregation, raising a God fearing family, and modeling what it means to follow Jesus both at home and in public ministry.
He is a graduate in Theology and Ministry and also holds honorary doctorate degrees that recognize his years of service in teaching, leadership development, and pastoral ministry.
